Senior FOIA Analyst

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Senior FOIA Analyst. The Senior FOIA Analyst is responsible for leading and coordinating enhancements and process improvements for the client's Freedom of Information Act Request Portal (FOIAXpress) systems. They will enable the organizations to take proactive measures to identify and manage changes in their business processes. They will focus on improving various business processes using different change management tools and techniques. They will provide support for FOIA and other Congressional, and client requests. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide expertise and support in the successful delivery of the projects. Keys to the success of this position is the  effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status.

MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN PUBLIC TRUST

• Manage projects related to the FOIA processes for the client
  
• Support data collection required for incoming FOIA requests
• Monitor and assess Federal FOIA policy and regulations and its impact on the client's FOIAXpress;
• Secure Release system to ensure continued compliance
• Develop strategic objectives to improve system and/or organizational performance
• Provide leadership with strategies for improvement
• Train staff to use new processes and procedures
• Provide Tier 1 support for incoming tickets related to FOIAXpress and Secure Release

• Proven experience in leading and implementing enhancements and business improvement initiatives
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, business or a related field
• Proficiency to interact with stakeholders at various levels
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex issues
• Potential to work independently as well as with others
• Understanding of risk mitigation tactics
• Proficiency in communicating technical information to non-technical staff
• Efficient leadership competencies to drive change
• Expertise in coordinating with cross-functional teams
