Overview

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Program Manager. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide expertise and guidance for project leadership, including defining the projects objectives, monitoring contract spending, monitoring project deliverables and creating executive summaries & presentations.The Program Manager plays a key role in client relations, working as the primary point of contact. Key to the success of this position is the successful delivery of projects and effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of the contract.
  • Manage IT services and infrastructure programs and projects.
  • Management of service level agreements and/or performance metrics as key indicators of success for contract performance.
  • Maintenance of program schedules and deliverables completed according to Government requirements.
  • Stay abreast of and incorporate industry and Government best practices, and advise on and support the client's adoption of ITIL V4 practices.
  • Responsible for effective management and administration of all efforts performed under this Task Order,,including the management and oversight of all activities performed by Contractor personnel, to satisfy the ckuebt requirements.
  • Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of this Task Order.
  • Utilize the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 current version and ensure all implementations of IT investments or requests comply with the client's System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Apply/adhere to the ISO 20000 (IT Service Management), and Control Objectives for Information Technology (COBIT) standards for Service Management processe.
  • Provide manage the Project Management Plan and Quality Control Plan, and report on all Service Level Agreements and when needed, take necesary corrective actions.
  • Coordinate, host, and facilitate weekly status briefing/meetings with, and provide a written Weekly Status Briefing Report to, the client on problems, and recommended solutions; updated roster of employees; work performed during the reporting period; and work to be accomplished during the next reporting period.
  • Submit a Morning Health Check every morning comprised of the status of critical and essential systems and services.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated dashboard solution that will be available to and reside on the client's system, which will provide high-level views on the enterprise health of the environment by providing near-real time availability, capacity, security, and performance data with the ability to analyze trends, data metrics and SLAs.
  • Ensure the client's end user community is adequately informed of any changes to the I&IT environment with impacts on end users’ ability to perform work.
  • Deliver a quarterly Communications Outreach Activity Document that consists of up to three separate communications that will describe upcoming technology migrations, changes in end user policies, how-to knowledge management articles, and any other information necessary to keep end users proactively informed about the IT end user environment.
  • Prepare a Weekly Staffing Report that lists Contractor/subcontractor employees.
  • Provide support for reports and documentation for Government data calls.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. Degree OR four years of related experience may be substituted for the education degree requirement 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with managing IT services and infrastructure programs and projects.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with Government representatives both orally and in writing.
  • Project Management Professional (PM)®, MBA or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Able to work independently.
