Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Technical Infrastructure Lead. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide support toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables. Key to the success of this position is an individual with strong infrastructure and Oracle knowledge and experience who can lead a team supporting a large data center. Strong communication skills is key to this position for the purpose of communicating with management, team members and users.

Salary is dependent upon the candidate's skills, experience, education and certifications. 

Salary Range: $130K - $160K

High end of salary range is considered for those who exceed qualifications in one or more required skill areas.

• Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections.

• Planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.

• Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems.

• Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
• Conducts capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Will increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
• Provides end user training.
• Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
• Provides local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location.(support will include general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications)
• Directs the work of other system administrators to provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.
• Will apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum a BA and or BS degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of at least 10 years of specialized experience in the field of Information Processing, where Information Processing disciplines involve a range of hardware/software solutions.
• Minimum of (4) years of hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
• Must have experience managing Design and Operational technical teams that support enterprise Oracle Fusion Middleware platform with over 300,000 users in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware (12c+), APEX, and Oracle REST Data Services.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting and SQL for troubleshooting and automation.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c/13c).
• Knowledge of STIG compliance and cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with ITSM systems and ticket management.
• Must have an excellent written and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
