SALARY RANGE: 110-135k

HIGH END OF THE SALARY RANGE IS CONSIDERED FOR THOSE WHO EXCEED QUALIFICATIONS IN A REQUIRED AREA

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Sr. SharePoint Developer overseeing SharePoint development activities for an existing government client. The selected individual will provide leadership necessary toward the successful delivery of projects and effective communication with customer and staff for reporting project status.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in design, building, implementation, and maintenance of innovative information technology applications.
  • Define and deliver the projects objectives, oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle, and coordinate the efforts of team members in order to deliver the project according to plan.
  • Play a leadership role in structuring and planning client engagements
  • Develop client relationships and manage delivery teams. 
  • Must be able to promote a culture of innovation.
  • Understand technical limitations of team and customer.
  • Must be able to quickly adapt to customer’s processes and explore solutions through research and testing.
  • Must be able to establish strong relationships with customer and developers.
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions to effectively streamline customer’s processes.
  • Research the best possible solution for the customer given limited resources.
  • Perform development utilizing HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
  • Provide design, development and maintenance support for Sites, Site Collections, and lists and libraries in SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online and/or Office 365.
  • Provide SharePoint Designer and workflow implementation support and expertise.
  • Support the development of project documentation and ensure compliance with client best practices.
  • Maintain, design, develop, test, implement and document SharePoint lists, sites, and document libraries.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts for functionality.
  • Assist with the front-end design and development of out-of-the-box SharePoint functionality, including the troubleshooting and customization.
  • Interacts with functional and other support staff to determine needs of modifications or enhancements.
  • Provide assessment of technical impact of enhancement requests.
  • Implement design and coding best practices into the SharePoint development and implementation.
  • Perform design trade-off analysis of technical systems and design.
  • Ensure quality levels are continually met. This includes objectives such as service delivery, code quality, and requirements capture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related degree is desirable.
  • Minimum two years of experience building lists and libraries within SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online.
  • At least two years of customer support experience through the use of efficient requirement acquisition.
  • Five plus years of experience in SharePoint Development.
  • Three plus years of experience with Sites, Site Collections, and lists and libraries in SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online and Office 365.
  • Two plus years of experience with SharePoint Designer and workflow implementation.
  • Experience with PowerBI and PowerAutomate are highly desirable.
  • Experience in performing SharePoint administration.
  • Applicable knowledge of markup languages HTML5, CSS, REST API, Workflow, Custom Forms, InfoPath and how to implement code to change web sites and SharePoint sites.
  • Experience in designing, building, implementing and maintaining innovative information technology applications.
  • Experience using JavaScript, and JQuery.
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions to effectively streamline customer’s processes.
  • The initiative to research the best possible solution for the customer given limited resources.
  • Two plus years of experience providing customer support.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including explaining technical and program requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong organizational abilities.
  • Must possess research capabilities for solution implementation.
