ONSITE - Franconia/Springfield, VA Area

 

The Software Application Training Lead will serve as Training Lead responsible for delivering IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Application software training through live and remote sessions, including international travel as needed. Provide technical support, assist with system enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage training materials. This role involves creating tailored curricula and SOPs/Job Aids to address evolving user needs, with on-the-job training provided to develop Maximo application software instruction skills; candidates with prior experience in training, instruction, and presentation are preferred.

 

Salary is dependent upon the candidates skills, experience, certifications and education as it pertains to this specific position  
Salary Range: $115K - $130K
High end of the salary range is considered for those who exceed Required Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver presentations and training by instructing IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Application software user classes through live classroom and remote sessions, including travel to overseas locations as needed.
  • Provide technical instruction and support by assisting with regression testing of system enhancements, managing Maximo software project tasks, and delivering hands-on guidance to users.
  • Manage tasks by coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams (to include software development, operations management, application end users, and other stakeholders) to develop, update, and maintain training curricula, SOPs/Job Aids, and training videos aligned with evolving user needs.
  • Develop and maintain system software training curricula tailored to specific user roles, collaborating closely with relevant teams to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Create and update IBM Maximo COTS software user Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and multimedia training materials.
  • Execute Training tasks and responsibilities as directed by the CMMS Program Manager.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Degrees in related disciplines, or an advanced degree in engineering or computer science is preferred.
  • Six to nine years of directly related experience in classroom IT training, instruction, and presentation is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in training delivery and instructional design, preferably in enterprise asset management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, including workflows, application designer, and integration framework preferred.
  • Familiarity with mobile Maximo platforms (EzMaxMobile, SMART Work Manager) and mobile device management (SOTI MDM) preferred.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and Cognos preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Supervisory experience is highly desirable
  • Minimum Interim Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal government programs.
  • Technical writing experience for training and documentation.
  • Experience with Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards.
