Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Task Order Project Manager. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide expertise and guidance for project leadership, including defining the projects objectives, overseeing quality control throughout the project life cycle, and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver the project according to plan. Key to the success of this position is the successful delivery of projects and effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system).
  • Shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
  • Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure Engineering teams to survey buildings and communication closets, review technical drawings, validate cable plans and coordinate cable and/or power infrastructure specifics as it relates to the installation of LAN related equipment and hardware.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal to no oversight.
  • Able to develop strong client relationships.
  • Must be able to work with a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

Security/Certification Requirements:

  • Relevant project management certification from a nationally recognized authority.
  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).
