Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Sr. Project Manager. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide expertise and guidance for project leadership, including defining the projects objectives, monitoring contract spending, monitoring project deliverables for multiple projects and creating executive summaries & presentations.
The Sr. Project Manager plays a key role in client relations, working as the primary point of contact. Key to the success of this position is the successful delivery of projects and effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status.
Provide project management and business reengineering support the client to collaborate with all cross functional areas and/or clients to ensure all business requirements accurately reflect the defined business processes within the client's environment.
Analyzes and develops computer software possessing a wide range of capabilities, including numerous engineering, business, and records management functions.
Execute the actions necessary to resolve project problems/issues and reports on mitigating steps and actions taken to ensure timely deliverables, project success and quality.
Analyze and evaluate the effects of program plans and budget issues using cost-benefit analysis tools and recommends managers of the most advantageous courses of action.
Works with stakeholders to design and analyze user interfaces; maintains hardware and software performance tuning; analyzes workload and computer usage; maintains interfaces with outside systems; analyzes downtimes; and analyzes proposed system modifications, upgrades and new Commercial off- the-shelf (COTS) and Government off-the-shelf (GOTS) products.
Defines the problem and develops system requirements and program specifications from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.
Coordinates closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications.
Develops plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion.
Performs regression and User Acceptance testing as needed.
Support the client's Service Management Office in any customer support needs.
Support business IT efforts in business analysis and project management.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or related subject
At least 10 years of related work experience.
Knowledge in project management, requirements gathering, documentation and business process re- engineering.
Self-motivated leader, enthusiastic, creative, analytical problem-solving leader who can work with minimal supervision and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as superior time management abilities.
Fundamental understanding on IT Infrastructure, software engineering and Agile processes.
Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Pays attention to detail and delivers quality products.
Must be able to handle high-pace office and is proactive.
