Salary: 65-84k/yr. BUT is dependent upon the candidates skills, experience, certifications and education as it pertains to this specific position

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused professional to support an IBM Maximo 9.X Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) implementation and user outreach program for a government client. This position combines training, stakeholder engagement, user support, scheduling, project coordination, and requirements gathering activities.

 

The ideal candidate is an outgoing communicator who enjoys working with end users, facilitating meetings, conducting interviews, delivering training, and helping organizations improve business processes through technology. Prior IBM Maximo experience is preferred but not required. The ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and lead discussions with users and government stakeholders is critical to success in this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with government personnel, operations teams, and training organizations to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Assist users with understanding system functionality.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate biannual CMMS Town Hall meetings.
  • Create presentations, flyers, communications, and meeting announcements.
  • Develop and distribute meeting invitations, status updates, and outreach communications.
  • Conduct interviews with CMMS users to gather feedback on system performance, challenges, and business needs.
  • Analyze user feedback and identify trends, process improvements, training opportunities, and enhancement recommendations.
  • Engage regularly with government managers, directors, and operational personnel to understand user needs and operational pain points.
  • Support ongoing communication efforts to increase system awareness and adoption.
  • Monitor Splunk dashboard and send out emails.
  • Upload Splunk dataset (instructions will be provided).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, user research, or requirements gathering.
  • Experience presenting information to groups and facilitating meetings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with users at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience creating presentations, reports, and user communications.
  • Maintain basic analytical skills, to include support the analysis of user feedback, and provide support in identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Splunk for the purpose of monitoring Splunk dashboard, and uploading Splunk dataset (instruction will be provided).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance, but requires an Interim Secret clearance to start.
  • Experience with IBM Maximo preferred, candidates without prior experience must be willing and able to complete Maximo training.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
